Gentle Mesquite, TX Pediatric Dentist

Meet Dr. Lucely Santillan

Dr. Santillan loves that pediatric dentistry gives her the chance to guide children toward lifelong oral health. She can help them overcome dental anxiety, relieve pain, and create a smile that feels great and looks even better. As her patients return over the years, she enjoys celebrating their milestones and learning about what’s happening in their lives. She looks forward to making that same connection with your family, and you can begin getting to know her below.

Why Did You Decide to Become a Pediatric Dentist?

Her path to dentistry began while volunteering at a Texas Mission of Mercy event during her studies at Texas Tech. Seeing how a lack of access to dental care affects families left a deep impression. Combining that experience with her enthusiasm for working with kids convinced her that pediatric dentistry was where she belonged.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

After finishing her education at Texas Tech University, Dr. Santillan completed her dental degree at the Texas A&M College of Dentistry. She then pursued advanced pediatric training dedicated exclusively to caring for patients from infancy through the teenage years. Her extensive hands-on experience helps her relate to young patients, support developing smiles, and provide thoughtful care to children with a wide range of special needs.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Born and raised in Garland, TX, Dr. Santillan enjoys working out, solving jigsaw puzzles, trying different restaurants, watching new shows and movies, and relaxing with her friends and family.
