From a young age, Dr. Lee had a strong interest in the medical field. The dentist he visited while growing up was actually the one who inspired him to consider dentistry as a viable career! He gave him lots of opportunities to observe patient care and even work part-time in the dental office when he was on summer vacation. Eventually, this led to him getting started down an educational path that would lead to his current position – and the rest, they say, is history.
After attending Emory University for his undergraduate degree, Dr. Lee achieved his doctorate at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He also completed a one-year advanced training program in General Dentistry. Soon after, he discovered a passion for working closely with children in particular; this led to him going to Baylor College of Dentistry, where he attended specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry. He is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist and a current member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He also attends continuing education courses in sedation dentistry. Additionally, he served in the U.S. Army as a Dental Corps Officer for over a decade!
Dr. Lee is married to his wonderful wife Julie, and their family consists of two awesome sons named Christian and Ian and an adorable dog named Bella. His favorite hobbies include spending quality time with his loved ones, playing golf and tennis, and traveling whenever he gets the opportunity.
